Configuration Manager

McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) is actively seeking a proven leader a Configuration Manager. Capture, monitor, and report the status of licenses, warranties, and maintenance agreements and track usage—including allocated, available, and total licenses. Project out and monitor expiration dates and notify Managers when managed items require: renewal; upgrades; quantity change; cost estimation; shipping, tracking and receiving. Manage equipment, spares and supplies for storage, turn-in and disposal.
Required Skills and Abilities:  
  • 8+ years in a CM lead role: 5 years COTs integration
  • Software / Systems Engineer Support (Requirements, CM, Technical Reviews)
  • Ability to coordinate, plan, meet and lead meetings with a government customer
  • Experience with developing or modifying CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of a developmental or operational software system
  • Experience with identifying configuration items, implementing change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
  • Knowledge of implementing CM discipline for the entire lifecycle of systems from initial requirements and capabilities baselines to system end-of-life
  • Knowledge of Promoted Deliverable Pipeline concept with a goal of program implementation
  • Ability to apply concepts, analyze and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures—to include creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build process
  • Ability to work on teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines, including development, test, and production with the tracking of all problems and changes in product documents and software, report changes, control standard operating procedures, and current configurations
  • Ability to maintain the CM environment for hardware and software product builds, staging, testing, and integration
  • Familiarity of toolsets:
    • Atlassian Suite – JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket
    • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred familiarity:
    • Zephyr – test management and execution
    • Apache Jmeter – performance and simulation testing
    • SonarQube – security code scans
Travel Requirement: Travel may be required.
