EDC is actively seeking a proven leader and Oracle MDM Architect. The Analytics Architect will be responsible for the successful delivery of data warehouse solutions and related components.  The candidate will have strong OMDM, as well as other Data Warehousing and Oracle Business Intelligence skills including OBIEE, Fusion Middleware, SOA and database design experience.  The candidate must also have familiarity with ETL tools and implementation of solution with ODI. Design data ingestion components and ETL to collect data from various sources.
  • Implement and Design the OBIEE RPD physical, business and presentation layers
  • Work with user to design and develop OBIEE reports and dashboards
  • Experience with ODI
  • Dimensional Data Modeling
  • Data Architecture
  • Understanding of the underlying technology including setup, tuning and administration
  • Test the entire solution
  • Some Project Leadership skills including MS Project
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team, mentoring and training the client on the various tools and techniques to build a complete Analytics solution
Required Skills and Abilities:  
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field and/or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience in complex engineering environments, taking abstract concepts and ideas and formulating a detailed software engineering plan to deliver
  • 3+ years implementing Oracle MDM solutions
  • Experience architecting software solutions with demanding requirements such as performance, high availability, reliability, security, etc.
  • Understand data and system integration patterns and technologies
  • Proficiency in managing large scale projects.
  • Ability to articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience through both verbal and written communication.
  • Strong conceptual, critical thinking, technical and problem solving skills with good attention to details.
  • Must be articulate and have the ability to meet with high level management to present and/or deliver technical documentation.
  • Coach / mentor other team members as appropriate
  • Ability to test the entire solution  
  • Experience collecting, analyzing and documenting user requirements
  • Excellent communications skills to interact with client and other developers, including training and mentoring of team members
Travel Requirement: Travel may be required.
