Job Title:  Project Manager – U.S. Marine Corps
EDC is actively seeking a proven leader and creative problem solver interested in working alongside a key client to provide project management and logistics leadership to support complex logistical challenges within the U.S. Marine Corps. Through innovative technical and managerial approaches, you will help our client optimize mission-oriented IT systems ensuring our warfighters have access to the logistical information they need to support their missions.  
Required Skills and Abilities:  
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager.
  • Extensive experience managing large, complex IT Department of Defense programs. 
  • Excellent understanding of ERP Solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain business processes within the U.S. Marine Corps, other military services and Defense Agencies. 
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps MAGTF Logistics operations. 
  • Experience supporting Defense clients that include the military services and /or Defense Agencies such as the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). 
  • Experience working with large companies and systems integrators (SIs).
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense Logistics IT Systems such as:
    • Common Logistics Command and Control System (CLC2S) 
    • Transportation Capacity Planning Tool (TCPT) 
    • Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS) 
    • Sustainment System Mission Command (S2MC) 
  • Knowledge of secure wireless technologies such as Air Fortress. 
  • Ability to build relationships within the Government and across a contractor team. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior Military and government leadership. 
  • Excellent presentation skills and a strong comfort level presenting innovative technical approaches and managerial solutions to senior leaders. 
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional facilitation and organization skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:  
  • Advanced/Graduate Degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Strong technical background in Java and Oracle. 
  • Experience using the Risk Management Framework for IA certification. 
  • Experience with VMs and cloud technologies. 
Travel Requirement: Travel to U.S. Marine Corps and other military installations within the United States and overseas is required.
Security Clearance Requirement:  Candidates must have a minimum Secret clearance to be considered for this position.
