SAP Funds and Grants Management Consultant

EDC is actively seeking a SAP funds and grants management consultant.

Required Skills and Abilities:  
  • Experienced with Commitment, Sub-Commitment and Pre-commitment, Voucher to Payment Integration processes.
  • Experience with Grantee Management.
  • Strong understanding of the cross-functional integration aspects.
  • General knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cost/Cash Management, Banking and Travel knowledge would be a plus.
  • Preference given to candidates who have worked on Public Sector implementations, version upgrades as well as in production support in team lead capacities.
  • Must have strong understanding of team dynamics, supervision and conflict resolution.
  • Candidates with ITSM (ITIL) Foundations certification will be given preference.
  • Incident Management: Candidates shall be required to
    • Demonstrate proficiency in handling SAP incidents from inception to closure adhering to Service Level Agreements
    • Demonstrate knowledge of Incident Management/Service Desk software such as Remedy
    • Work with other team members as appropriate in Release Management activities 
    • Develop documentation pertaining to incidents and change requests
  • Business Analysis:
    • Candidates will possess excellent communications and business analysis skills and employ them to work with and guide customer domain leads in gathering requirements necessary for implementing change requests and enhancements.
    • Develop functional specifications and other associated documents with appropriate levels of detail
    • Perform thorough analyses to determine whether a requirement can be handled through existing functionality or a change in business process.
    • Candidates should be able to work in situations requiring extended teams or work independently as required.
    • The ability to clearly articulate functional requirements to technical team members and coordinate the closure of development and other technical work as necessary

  • Good working knowledge of SAP systems and applications.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to think ‘outside the box.’
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • U.S. Citizen or H1B Visa
Travel Requirement: Travel may be required.
